We recognise that the condonation of any form of abuse ultimately constitutes a gross dereliction of society’s legal duty and moral responsibility in safeguarding a child. Worse, child abuse can lead to blighted lives. At Tye & English, we are also mindful that child abuse can take a form that is insidious and therefore hard to recognise, especially in the early stages. We are also cognizant of the fact that child abuse may emanate from outside the organisation, and it behoves all of us to be ever watchful.
